Black Magick

First Autumn OOTDs.

These outfits are primarily from Dresslily.

I went with a more minimalist nu-goth look with this outfit.
Something with simple and plain shapes but layering to bring out the movement of the clothing. I accessorized with silver jewelry to contrast against the black but without over-powering the outfit.
I'm just not a fan of gold tones honestly.

I liked this outfit because it was somewhat simple and easy to wear yet unique looking. The split cut of the long shirt gives it options for layering.

Tunic shirt by Dresslily
Boots: New Rock

With scarf (something I picked up during a Winter Clearance).

I enjoyed the fabric on this shirt. It has a distressed look.
This shirt was pretty soft and comfortable but ordering a L, I think it fit me slightly big. Sleeve length however on me, was PERFECT.

The last shirt was a plain black tank top. This shirt had a slightly asymmetrical cut and I ended up really liking it!
The fabric was quite soft so I will likely will this fairly often.

Glitter Galactic - Space Grunge

I'm really excited to share this particular look! Particularly as it's just such a different type of look than I've often done. I feel like I say that a lot, but it's always true I swear lol.
One of the highlights I centered around this look was the SHOES!

Because they are just too cool, and so shiny!
These are the Glitter Galactic Qozmo by YRU

They are quite colorful, yet the color is subtle at the same time. The colors are dark cool colors (blues, teals, purple etc.) but they shine when the light hits them making the colors really pop too.
All the little glittery specks are little colored gems encrusted on. One thing to be aware of is you will notice some of the little gem pieces fleck off at times but theres so many that I have not even noticed any missing on the shoes themselves.

Be Weird, Be You.

And of course my outfit!
As I mentioned I centered the look on the shoes. I wanted it to be dark of course but a little bit of color to go with the shoes somehow. Luckily my hair was purple so I think it actually helped balance the look.

If I had to describe a style for this, it would be something like Space Goth or Space Grunge.
I also remembered about this blue and black glittery belt I had gotten many years back from Hot Topic. It actually paired great being glittery as well... but of course it hardly showed up in my pictures. XD
Heres a close-up anyway.

Waiting For The Storm

Lately the weather has been cloudy like on the verge of a storm...
Although it's overcast it hasn't rained much where I lived. There have been storms but they've been in nearby areas.

I wish it would actually rain. Sometimes there will be a light rain but it disappears usually in some minutes. Because of this it's been more humid (and still hot) many days.

So this time I'm showing another outfit that I think is pretty versatile. It's still casual especially with the tank top. But you could easy layer this to dress it up more.
But honestly it's way to hot to add anymore layers here at least haha.

Btw I'm sure you might have noticed, I changed my hair to purple!
It's a nice fun change and I really enjoy this change.

The shirt is long cut, which is the first time I've tried this. It seems trickier to wear but I liked how it looked with more slim fitting pants.
The boots are also brand new! And the style is totally new to me. As I never wear boots with such a low cut.

Eskimo Goth

It's finally coat weather!
So I'm showing a Winter outfit for a change.

I just love the fur accents on this coat. All the material is great, the coat itself is in a type of velvet/velveteen with the fur trim including the hood!
Plus the coat actually fits pretty well too. The sleeves are cut full-length (I hate when sleeves are too short because it happens so often for me!).

Do you like my boots, I love them. They're such a tall platform, I'm just so giant in them (but it's cool). :3

Boots: Demonia

Brand: PUNKRAVE

As I introduced in my previous post, I wanted to elaborate more on the brand punkrave.
Punkrave is one of my favorite clothing brands! I was first introduced to them from various sellers on ebay many years ago. And over the years I've managed to get a little collection of some of their items.
Some of the things I own, I believe are retired designs even I no longer see for sale usually.
But they are always adding new stuff that just as quickly I fall in love with. <3

Since I first started buying their clothes I noticed how the style of their clothes, especially the gothic clothes really started to become more mature and elegant. It's still unique but has a look of sophistication to it.
Which is totally my kind of style.

I particularly love their beautiful gothic style clothes. The nice thing about their brand is they actually have a diverse selection for both men and women. Similarly some of the items work well unisex too and I own items for both the women's and men's designs.
They just have so many cool designs and the quality is actually pretty good. Like I notice a lot more intricate little details on the fabric, lace etc. than many other alternative style brands.

I absolutely love their gothic jackets. A lot of them have such a cool blend of gothic and punk styles that they just look really unique.

One of my favorite items is this leather style coat (me on the right!)

They have some really pretty gothic victorian dresses too!
Really they just have a lot of super cool clothes that it is difficult to not just wish you owned everything from their store practically.

Hope you enjoyed learning a bit more about one of my favorite clothing brands.

Gothic Doll - Review for Stylewe

I am back!
And happy for the start of cooler weather. It's gotten slightly cooler for me but it's mostly noticeable only in the evening.

Still, I think it's wonderful for the change of season as I'm ready for some new outfits!
Today my review is for the fashion website: www.stylewe.com

Stylewe is a website featuring many independent designers.

Really there  are quite a lot and you can check out the designer list here.

I was also excited to see they even had clothes from Punkrave! The Punkrave brand has grown in popularity over the years outside of Asia. It's got a lot of beautiful and elegant gothic clothing among other styles as well.

I'm wearing the "Black Plain Street Forktail Skinny Leg Pant"

These pants are from stylewe.com and they are gorgeous!
They really are quite unique and have such nice details.
The pants are like a felt material with a black velvet brocade pattern and light fabric tail at the back.

I don't own any other pants this unique for my more elegant gothic outfits. So I think they'll be a lot of fun to make outfits with.
For my outfit here I felt like a manga character, like a noble dark magician. >3
I think part of the fun with unique style is keeping your imagination. :3

Stylewe has a lot of other cool punkrave clothes and of course lots of nice clothes from many other designers as well.
I've already wishlisted several I liked as well.
It's definitely worth check out as they have a good range of clothing and styles.

Shipping was very fast. In fact my order was shipped from the USA which means they must keep stock internationally. But it's good news for those in the USA as I know the pain of waiting for your items to arrive in the mail. x.x

I was also given confirmation of when my order shipped, so communication was also good.

Overall I highly encourage stylewe as it has a lot to offer with a lot of clothing designers you likely wouldn't see on most sites.
